I've had a few sets of these yoko's on my max and other than noise and tread wear being not so great, I like the tire. Came home from the shore and had a great ride even though the front ones are down to 5/30 seconds and getting noisy. Looking at another tire cause these aren't cheap and I want better handling in snow.

Bought these considering the reputation of Yokohama and reading some reviews. I put on 35,000 miles and these tires are shot. I'm not hard on tires and keep proper pressures. These are not good in the snow, and I always get a queasy feeling when I corner in the rain. I always anticipated fish tailing in even a light snow, and this past winter, my ABS really got a workout. Wouldn't buy them again at half the price.

These tires have a 60,000 mile warranty. I've had two sets. Both were completely worn out (practically bald) at about 35,000 miles. I got the second set because of a discount. I will never buy them again.

Had these fitted on an AWD Jaguar X-Type, got 10,000 miles on them now. I started noticing some road noise and found the fronts had started feathering on the edges (it could be alignment but this was done at the same time as the tires where fitted). Had the tires rotated (front/back) and noise is reduced. These are good tires with really good grip in the corners (where you need it), and in the wet. I would get them again but maybe a different tread next time.

I bought these tires at the advice of the shop. Having used the Bridgestone Potenza brand for the last 10 years, I was a little bit of a skeptic. There was a significant price difference so I thought OK, I will give it a try. WOW! was I ever surprised. I feel that these tires met and exceeded the value I received from the other brand. A far superior tire in my opinion. I will go back to this brand again!

I have run 2 sets of these on my 2003 CTS with 247,000 miles before buying this '08. Each set lasted well into the 60,000 mile range. I have replaced the Goodyear tires that were on this car when I got it. I did not like the feel in the rain or the noise that came from those tires. I am so happy to have these tires on the car. The noise is almost non-existent and I feel so much better driving in the rain. I'm looking forward to winter as these tires are sure footed in the snow. And don't forget, this is a rear wheel drive car.

Based upon other reviews on the Internet, I gave the Yokohama Avid Envigors a try. They were an excellent match for the CX-9. I found them very quiet on the highway and were very comfortable riding. I got about 50K miles out of them and even then they performed extremely well. Nice tire for the money.
