FeaturesBenefits
Comfort Base CompoundProvides unbeatable comfort over bumps and road cracks while reducing tires' heat build-up and improving wear characteristics
3D Lock SipeLocks the tread blocks on the tire's outer shoulder area together on road contact, which stiffens the structure of the tire. The tread blocks cannot move while driving; instead, they support each other. This reduces unnecessary sipe movement, which reduces the heat generated in the tire
Polished GroovesMain grooves help expel water from the tire surface. The innovative tread pattern allows the tire to run effortlessly on dry or wet roads
Severe Service EmblemExceeds the government standard for tire performance in harsh winter conditions
Groove LiftsThis additional support combines the best features of the longitudinally ribbed and arrow-patterend winter tires. This also makes the tire behave in an extremely stable and controlled manner on dry roads and prevents small rocks from becoming wedged in the grooves
Aramid SidewallDurability and protection for surprising situations. The sidewall compound that is exceptionally durable and puncture-resistant
Environmentally FriendlySustainability is as important as safety; Nokian Tyres uses only low-aromatic, purified oils in production

I've tried four different tires on my pickup over the years and these are actually the best. I was looking for an aggressive tread for my lifted 4x4 and since I leave them on all year round, winter performance is something that is important. I was actually looking to replace the set of General Grabber AT2's that were pretty worn but the shop I went to didn't have them in stock. The salesman recommended the WRG3 SUV's so I decided to try them out even though they didn't have the "look" I wanted. In the month that I've had them on, I've driven through practically every type of weather condition from dry pavement to deep snow and I've been amazed how well they perform. On bare pavement, they are pretty quiet and smooth; more like a typical all-season tire. Of course, they don't have an aggressive tread so I was expecting that. In deep snow and slush, they perform a lot like a snow tire and I find that I can drive in 2 wheel drive mode most of the time whereas the other tires I've had wouldn't hook up enough on hill starts or deep snow. Ice is still a problem but I feel they provide a decent amount of traction and are very predictable. I think these are about as good as you can get without dedicated snow tires and they can be left on all year round. If you're looking for an aggressive tread or need hard-core off-road traction, these aren't for you but if you want a tire that'll perform well in all other conditions, you can't go wrong with these!
