Keeping your vehicle aligned helps maintain, even tire wear, proper handling, a smoother ride and also helps with improved fuel economy. With every alignment from Tire Town we will correct any and all suspension adjustments that are provided by the vehicles manufacture to preferred factory specification.
To properly align any vehicle the following procedures are followed. A pre-test drive to evaluate the current drivability of the vehicle. This is where we check for pulls, the center line of the steering wheel and any other common ride problems. The next steps are a visual inspection of steering and suspension components, adjusting tire air pressure. Next, sensors are then placed on all four wheels on every vehicle to accurately measure the alignment angles; Caster, Camber and Toe. If necessary and where applicable, we then physically adjust the alignment angles to the manufacturers preferred factory specifications. The final step in the alignment process is a post alignment test drive; this is the most accurate way to make sure the work has been completed correctly.
